What Sick Moves is

Sick Moves is the practice player for dancers. Open the song from class, slow it down as far as you need without the pitch changing, and loop the eight you keep missing until it sits. Set the cue on the 1, so every run starts exactly where you want it. Open the video your teacher filmed, and the app lines it up with the clean track and keeps the two in time at any speed, so you can slow the whole class down and still see and hear it together.

And when you want it, the app counts the beats for you: it finds the tempo and the bars, counts you in before the 1, and speaks the counts while you dance, on the picture when a video is showing.

How it works

  1. Open your song. Slow it, loop it, set the cue. The tempo and the bars are found for you, and you can move the 1 if you count it differently.
  2. Open the video from class. It follows the song, so the video and the music stay together even when you slow everything down.
  3. Repeat until it's clean. Save the whole setup as a project and share it with the class.

It runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or laptop, and installs to the home screen like an app. Your files stay on your device.
